Finance Booklet Competition 2017

Enter the student competition to design the front cover for the new finance guide 2017/2018.

The Finance Department is asking for students to submit their creative ideas for a new front cover for the Finance Guide. The winning design will feature on the foldout A5 booklet.

The Finance Guide is a crucial document, containing all the information students need to know concerning the payment of fees whilst at university. The guide includes information about self-paid tuition fees, sponsorships, outstanding debts, student loans and accommodation. It also includes FAQ and contact details for all departments involved with student finances.

The artwork will need to reflect both the University of Lincoln and the Finance Department.

The competition is open to all students of the University of Lincoln and entrants can utilise all styles and media, including illustration, photography, and typography and computer graphics. Please submit your final design in a .JPEG format.

The deadline for all entries is Friday 30th June 2017.

The booklet is available from the Finance Department, Student Support Centre and Lincoln Students’ Union and is also given out on enrolment.
All final artwork must be submitted to finance@lincoln.ac.uk with the subject line ‘Finance Guide competition 17/18’.

Judging

The judging will take place as soon as possible after the deadline. The judging panel intends to select one winner and two runners-ups. The winner will receive a £50 Amazon voucher, a £20 Nandos voucher and a Lincoln hoodie; second place will receive a £20 Nandos voucher and a Lincoln hoodie; and third place will receive a Lincoln hoodie.
Important note: Once selected, the Finance Department will add the University and SU logo, and the text ‘Finance Guide 2017/18 All You Need to Know’ to the finished design so please take this into account when creating your design.
